One of Charlotte's favourite pre-School teachers recently had a baby. Twiglet is facinated by this which has resulted in an interesting line of questioning that I didn't think I'd be confronted with quite yet. It's also resulted in some serious 'experimentation'. Those of us who've had kids know that the last stages of pregnancy can be a bit of a 'challenge', waddling about with swollen ankles blocking out the sun if you turn sideways. (When I was pregnant I asked my beloved, 'Why do pregnant women waddle?, response, 'Because they're too fat to skip.') Here Charlotte painfully recreates 'very pregnant lady goes for pee'.

Thankfully shortly after this Charlotte gave birth (to a bear). There was much huffing and puffing involved (how the scooby does she know this?).

Apparently having your pyjamas on your head at the time helps in some way (the wonders of modern pain relief). Think I may need a chat about how much pre-School have explained about the pregnancy birth thing.....
Mother and bear both doing fine.

The last picture is cracking me up. She is so full of character!
Oh my goodness, hilarious. A mother needs her rest after giving birth.
