Emily the Bear

Well you know how some nurseries have toys that you have to take home for the weekend and then you have to write a story about them? And that the average family weekend involves exciting stuff like going to Asda and watching the telly (nothing wrong with that).

Well this weekend we had the huge honour of playing host to 'Emily the Bear'.

Emily comes is a very dashing red tracksuit (obviously either a chav bear or just a bit of a tomboy - we'll give her the benefit of the doubt on the chav front) and her own baby bear type carrier.

Better do something exiciting with this wee furry beastie then. So we took Emily bowling - do bears bowl - not well it has to be said. Then we gave Emily a wee taste of Codona's (indulging her inner chav) followed by tea out. Phew. (No Asda's - go team Rowley). That's Friday dealt with.

Lucky Dad bloke had to work all weekend so we shipped out (complete with Emily) to visit the Grandfolks. It snowed so we had to find Emily additional clothing. Charlotte and Emily then hit the town to catch a show - The Singing Kettle no less. No one can say that we don't know how to show a bear a good time!
