Conversations with my Daughter #379 (or thereabouts)

'Mum'

'Aha'

'Where was Jack* when I was a baby was he in Pre-School or in a cloud?'

'Well I don't think he was in a cloud, what on earth would he be doing in a cloud Hun?'

'Well all babies start in the clouds' says Twig laughing incredulously at her mother not being aware of this incontrovertible fact.

'All babies are in the clouds until they see a Mummy and then they jump into her tummy from the cloud and then she has a baby, but the babies don't remember being in the cloud bit but that is where they come from, did you not know that Mum?'

Nope. But happy to accept this version. Easier than the truth....

*Former Pre-School buddy now at 'big' School.

I had NO IDEA that babies were such crack jumpers. None whatsoever. Having a four year old is clearly very educational.

Babies come from clouds? Who knew?
